Welcome to North Woods Paw, a Fear Free Certified facility, and the ultimate destination for dog boarding in Columbia, NH. We understand that dogs are more than just pets; they are cherished members of the family. That’s why we are committed to providing a stress-free home away from home for your beloved canine companions. Here at North Woods Paw we focus on taking the “pet” out of “petrified” because a relaxed, fear free dog is a happy dog. We do not allow choker chains, prong collars, or shock collars at our facility!

Our large dog wing has six spacious private suites with attached outdoor run, and one family sized suite with attached outdoor run. When the weather is good, the guillotine doors are kept open so your dog may go in or out as he or she desires. For safety reasons, all guillotine doors are closed and locked at night. Since larger breeds can be quite intimidating to the little tikes, there is a special area just for them. This separation helps alleviate stress and makes for a much more relaxed pup.
ALL dogs get let out in play yards several times a day for exercise and to do their business. Dog waste is picked up promptly as we strive to provide the cleanest environment possible.
If your furry friend isn’t fond of the wicked cold temperatures we experience up here in the Great North Woods, we have an indoor potty station for their convenience.
